Tool Lister (“the App”) is provided by Can-saa (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1) Summary

  • Tool Lister is designed to work fully locally for your tool inventory and generated lists.

  • The App may show ads using Google AdMob unless you purchase the Remove Ads in-app purchase.

  • Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment details.

2) Information You Provide

The App allows you to enter information such as:

  • Tool names, details, quantities, categories, set names

  • Optional list information (your name, company name)

  • Optional logo image used on generated PDFs

This information is stored on your device.

3) Local Storage

Tool Lister saves data locally on your device, including:

  • Your tool inventory

  • Your list preferences (name/company/logo choice)

  • The last generated PDF list

We do not require you to create an account.

4) Advertising (AdMob)

If ads are enabled, the App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may collect or receive certain information automatically for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention, such as:

  • Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)

  • IP address (which may be used to estimate general location)

  • App interaction and performance data

Data collected by AdMob is handled under Google’s privacy policies.

If you purchase Remove Ads, the App will stop showing ads on that device/account (subject to successful purchase/restore).

5) In-App Purchases (in_app_purchase)

The App offers a one-time purchase to remove ads.

Purchases and payment information are handled by:

  • Apple App Store (iOS)

  • Google Play (Android)

We do not collect, store, or process your credit card or payment information.

6) Restore Purchases

If you previously bought Remove Ads, you can use Restore Purchases in the App. This requests purchase history from Apple/Google to re-enable your entitlement when available.

7) Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

However, third-party services used by the App (such as Google AdMob and the App Store / Google Play billing systems) may process certain data as described above to provide their services.

8) Data Retention

Because your inventory and generated PDF are stored locally, data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

9) Children’s Privacy

Tool Lister is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10) Security

We take reasonable measures within the App design to keep your data local and minimize collection. No method of storage is 100% secure, so please use the App responsibly.

11) Your Choices

  • You can remove ads by purchasing Remove Ads.

  • You can reset/remove your data by deleting the App (which removes locally stored files).

  • You may be able to limit ad personalization via your device settings (where available).
